Time for a new year with new resolutions!
*Beauty Edition*
* Spend less on makeup (lip balms included! lol) - I find that the videos where youtube beauty gurus have minimal makeup is where I find them the most beautiful! Letting your skin breathe is so important. One of the main reasons why I don't own liquid foundation is because I'm scared my skin will get clogged and it will go downhill from there. Less is more.
* Clean my makeup brushes at least once a week!
* Try to spend on earth friendly beauty products - good for the body and good for the earth :)
* Don't spend a surplus amount on lower quality items and save for more timeless fashion pieces (quality over quantity!) - Example: I resisted a lot in 2010 from buying random cheaper purses and saved up for a purchase on a Marc Jacobs bag which my boyfriend also helped pay as my Christmas gift!
* Get more regular hair trims so that my hair will grow out faster! (I swear I only get two haircuts a year - bad bad bad)
* Find my HG eye cream - so difficult!
Non-beauty related new year's resolutions:
* Exercise more *cough cough* - 2010 was the year I truly learned that health is so much more important than anything else in the world
* Calm myself, stop worrying, and freaking out over everything
* Find an awesome internship at the end of my school program and kick start my career
* Save save save! $$
* Express and appreciate acts of kindness even if they are small

I totally agree with you on a lot of these things. I definitely need to save money and control myself. But it is soooo hard!!! Haha, wish you a wonderful rest of 2010 and a great 2011 too!^0^

Excellent goals :) Good luck with them--I know I'm going to need mental support to resist in splurging in "cheaper" makeup as opposed to quality ones. Have a happy new year!! xx
My gosh, I'd like to achieve all of your goals too other than the haircut one. I get my hair trimmed too often, which results in my hair not getting any longer.
But I'm not gonna set any new years resolutions because I fail at keeping them!

Re: question on what I got for xmas from the bf- he got me a combo xmas/bday gift as most people do haha He got me a north face jacket^^ and then he surprised me later with D&G #3 perfurme ahhh I was surprised because I didn't even tell him that I wanted it :p

Happy belated new year! I hope we both are able to keep to our resolutions hee! We have one in similar, save save save! IT's so hard to save especially whens there's constantly goodies tempting you to spend! I spend all my money on travels =( My sis always says at least I have memories lol but honestly having an empty bank account is not very fun!
Oh I use to constantly collect cute, random, useless things too! hahaha some of them are still in my room...somewhere...you know those lil winnie the pooh phone straps that you roll out of those lil toy machines for 2$ or so? Well I have a whole ton of those just sitting in big shoe boxes! *think boots box big!* Im thinking of taking them out sometime soon and displaying them something in my room, maybe on s string?
p.s the bra post is up and totally in-your-face-not-concealed type too =P

'Spend less on makeup' <-- yup been seeing that on everyone's list and mine too! I'm scared my skin will get clogged too! My mom made me fearful of liquid foundations haha. The only liquid foundation I have is Dior's, I only bought it because it claims to be mineral and all and I never wear it (lol... man I neglect my stuff!)
