Buffalo Trip Haulpost :)

I spent this weekend enjoying myself before I drown in notes for my upcoming 4 midterms next week. Seriously. My instructors have no heart, reading week is not really supposed to be for reading...

I wanted to go on a short road trip somewhere, and I've always wanted to go to The Cheesecake Factory - so Buffalo is where we headed to :)

Here are goodies I picked up!!

Forever 21

There were TWO levels. I was seriously overwhelmed. Happily overwhelmed. Felt bad for my boyfriend who had to wait for me to go through every rack overwhelmed ;) I settled on some lovely printed tops (~$20 each) due to the surplus of solids I have in my closet.

Origins @ Macy's

I personally loathe department stores (other than the beauty GWP events!) but I was pleasantly surprised to find an origins counter there :) I've wanted to try the VitaZing ($35) since MakeupByTiffanyD raved about it but I believe there is only one Origins in Toronto, far far away from me. Will write a blogpost in the future if it's worthy :) The SA also gave me a sample of their new product Plantscription, an anti-aging serum. I love the idea of serums plus I am being paranoid about my visible forehead lines so I can't wait to try it out!

Target

Oh Target, how I can't wait for you to come to Canada! I hope they will carry similar stuff once they come to Canada, especially the Sonia Kashuk line!

I picked up a necklace ($15) made from fabric, chains, and diamonds. They are similar to my AE ones, there's just something so pretty about this combination!

Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint in Poppy ($10) used it today and I love how natural the colour looks. It's also very easy to blend and it's not sticky at all. Flat top Sonia Kashuk brush ($12), love love love, and the handle is uber love. I'm currently using a similar E.L.F brush but that one is definitely not as soft as this one - I use these flat top brushes for my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (which I still need to blog/rave about!!). I want everything from the Sonia Kashuk linee :)

A smudge brush I've been looking for foreverrrr at a good price. Sold at Sephora for $24? sold at Target for $2!

VitaFusion MultiVites Gummy ($9), multi-vitamins for adults! I've wanted to start eating multi-vitamins but the tablet is just way too big for me to swallow. So I gave up on it. This makes things so much easier. I can't find these in Canada, let me know if you know of any!

Jewelry @ Aldo, Forever 21

Earrings from Forever 21 were $1.50! I'm going to modify it and take off the brown beads :) The leaf ($6) and owl ring ($10) was actually bought today when I was at Shops at Don Mills in North York so I decided to add it in here. Which brings me to my excitement finding such great shops there! I ate a quick lunch at McEwan Foods that consisted of a fluffy crusted chicken pot pie :) YUM. I want to try everything in there. The selection in that supermarket is AMAZING! I've also ate across at Fabbrica for a friend's birthday and the food is pretty good there too.

Murale was a super shocker for me. I didn't even know it existed this whole time! When I walked in, I instantly had the same feeling when I walked into my first Ulta. *beauty heaven* They carried higher end brands that I would love to try such as Bobbi Brown, Cargo, YSL, Chanel etc. The best part is that they use the SDM Optimum point system. WEE! Guess where I will head to on a 20X point event?? Teehee.

Anthropologie was an amazingggg store. I loved the atmosphere and the interior of that store. Thanks Edwina for blogging about this store! I wouldn't have known about it or Murale :) There's a lot of great pieces in that store but the sale section was packed with people with not much to share, and the prices are through the roof in some cases :( But I would love to go there again and again nonetheless :)

I had a fun shopping filled weekend but it's back to reality for me! Hope everyone has a great Family Day/President's Day tomorrow! It's snowing oodles where I am right now. Maybe this will truly be a Family Day ;)

Thanks for dropping by! xoxo

I didn't get to go to Murale when I went to the Shops because I was in a rush both time that I went, but I'd love to visit it!

I saw an Origins counter at the bay in Yorkdale before, I might be wrong. I never tried their stuff, do let us know how u like it! :)

I really like both tops that you got at F21! I LOVE any clothes that are blue oh and that flat top sonia kashuk brush looks awesome!

I eat the same gummy vitamins as in your picture. I bought them at Costco for $12 or around there. I've tried the Flinstones one (shh, I'm a kid at heart!) but those don't taste as good :P

I so can't wait until Target comes to Canada, too! And Murale is heaven. I luckily get to go there every day because that is where I work, but it's bad in a way because I end up wanting everything! Haha!

Enjoy your goodies!!

Hey Hun, thanks for the comment on my blog. No, my lips in the picture is not my natural colour. :(

Great hauls! I'm having a hard time digesting that you got that smudge brush for only $2. What a steal!! You lucky bum. I love the tops you got at Forever 21, especially the print. They are soo pretty. Love the jewelery as well, I like the vintage feel to it.

Hehe ughs, what a nice reading break you have. *sarcasm. Suck you gotta study so much. -.-" Such a cruel world.

Take care, xo.

You got so many nice things! I wouldn't even be able to cross the border because I have no passport. So if there ever was some epidemic event to happen here in Canada and it would be beneficial to flee to the US, I'm screwed haha!!
Dangg there's a Murale around here?! I was thinking the only stores are located around Vancouver. I LOVE the points system hehe. I recently collected mine during the bonus redemption *greedy*
And I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Anthropologie. I heard it from another blogger a while back but I just don't have the funds right now to even bother looking for something there =(

I swear F21 is way better down in the states than here in Vancouver, thought I guess I should be pretty grateful that I live in the city that actually has a F21 LOL I also love target! Sometimes bf and I make a trip down to the states just to hit up target and a few other stores and of course, the outlets! I've yet been able to visit an anthropologie yet but Im always surfing their site hahaha its bad ><

I've been thinking of taking some vitamins or maybe collagen(?) thought I definitely still need to do some research on them and figure out what's good for me, any suggestions? Im finally on my reading break, which means no classes for a week but the profs have piled on all the papers and readings, so no rest yet!

Jenny! Youve been a naughty girl!

Love the Aldo rings... ugh, *drools*

And those F21 pieces are LOVE! Been lusting for the "dove" dress since last year!!! I hope you can share a photo of how you plan to style that number too :D

On BFs waiting when we shop: we ALL have the same sentiments. the guilt can be huge, eh? it's nice to find someone who's willing to WAIT years :D
