As some of you may know from my twitter, I landed an internship!! Finally! Such a big sigh of relief. Now I just have to maintain my marks for another 2.5 months and I'll be free! Can't wait to start making some moolah baby :)
BM Matte Foundation, Milani HD Concealer, Urban Decay Brow Box, Urban Decay Brown Sugar Highlighter on eyelids, Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero, Maybelline Classic Volum' Express Mascara, Eco Bella blush in Wild Rose, Tarte lip stain in Lucky, Revlon lip gloss in Pink Pop
I received my Meg's Makeup goodies in the mail recently. If I haven't mentioned it yet, go join! It's a site where you comment on posts, make posts in forums and earn points. Once you get to a certain number of points you can redeem and get lots of amazing goodies! I always aim for the 250 points redemption. You only have to pay for shipping. For me, it usually costs me $15, which is not a bad deal considering what you get.
What I received:
Hard Candy Glitter Eyeshadow Appliques and lipstick
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Asphyxia
Tarte LipSurgence Natural Matte Lip Stain in Lucky
Milani Eyeshadow in Taffy
Ecco Bella Blush in Wild Rose
Urban Decay Cream Highlight in Brown Sugar
I tried a few items and was surprisingly impressed! I LOVE the Tarte Lip Stain! I couldn't believe how a matte colour would act as a stain...but it does! I can't wear this alone, but wearing this under your lipgloss makes the lipgloss colour pop! Will consider buying the Tarte lustre lip stains in the future because I am tres impressed :)
I also tried the Ecco Bella Blush and holy crap it's super pigmented! The colour is a beautiful berry/mauve colour on the cheeks. The brand looks like it's a natural organic beauty line and is also made of "flowercolour" - mineral powder from flower wax. Note to self to check this brand out!
Last thing I tried out was the Urban Decay Cream Highlight in Brown Sugar. Um...AMAZING! This feels nothing like cream. It feels thin and light and watery? I hate cream products that feel heavy and has a high tendency to dry out. Brown Sugar is too dark for me to use as a highlight so I used this on my eyelids and the shimmers in it is very pretty :) It's definitely not fine shimmers, but I think it's appropriate for an eye colour. Remember to swatch this in Sephora, the texture is very unique :)
And of course...what kind of Valentine's would this be without THE Perfect Man :D
Look at those chocolate hard abs! :D What are your Valentine's Day/Weekend plans ladies?! xoxo
