Last week I discovered this beautiful little place called Port Credit in Mississauga. It always amazes me that places like this exist in Ontario. We might not have tropical palm trees, white sand beaches, or pyramids; but everything I really need is right here. I always feel fortunate that my parents decided to settle here in Canada 23 years ago :)

The water was actually blue teal :) I love going to small inner city parks but I've noticed the maintenance of the water in these parks are just so so poor. The ducks and swans are literally swimming and living in thick muck. People are also feeding the ducks which I did do when I was a child, but learned quickly this actually harms them because it's not part of their normal diet and they just don't know when they are full!
The town there was so quaint and there was also a natural organic health food store nearby stocked with natural beauty products that I got really giddy about :D This was a random pit stop but I wish I could've stayed, lay out a blanket, and read a book there for the whole day. It's nice to get away from traffic, work, and high rise buildings once in a while!
Anyways, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!

The beaches in Canada look so serene. It's one place I'd love to live and raise my family in :)
This place is beautiful! I hope you get to come back one day do what you wanted, read a book on an open blanket and enjoy the breeze! (providing there is one hahahaha) I wish there were more places like this in BC too!
P.s thanks soooo much for entering my giveaway!!! ><
Looks so lovely!
Wow, it looks lovely there :) I love how blue the sea is, it makes me just want jump in! :)
It's a shame the water maintenance in the parks is bad :( I used to always feed ducks when I was younger. I always thought it was nice to do it, but I didn't realise that it's actually harmful to them!
xx
I only learned a few years ago that bread makes the stomachs of birds explode!
Good thing I'm too afraid of birds to feed them anyway.
Places like this one are hidden treasures :)
