To my delight, as I was driving home from work I noticed this huge red and yellow striped tent. The circus was in town!!!
I've been wanting to go to the circus since forever because of the memories I have of my aunt taking my cousins and I when we were little. I remembered it was such an eye-opener for me! Although I was scared of clowns (I still am) there was a touch of surreal-ness with the bright colours, acrobatics, and animals that knew had to do tricks!
Craziest stunt ever. Some guy holding this heavy apparatus. OH. Lets put someone up on the apparatus. Oh, and for the hell of it, why not make him ride a motorcycle IN IT! Needless to say, I was worried for their life.
You can't go to a circus and not see elephants! You know, just chilling out, sitting on a stool, having a good laugh ;)
Many years later, the circus was still amazing! Felt like a kid again :)

I went to New York so wasn't able to go :(

I think circuses are great ideas and Im all for it but I've been turned off them since I did a research paper on animal cruelty and more often than not circuses do not treat their animals with kindness, I hope this circus was different though!
I'm really loving these pictures. While on the freeway the other day, I saw a circus tent being set up too. I'm going to stop by next time. This looks like tons of fun :)

I've always wanted to go see the circus! Cirque Du Soleil in particular. It's amazing what those people can do. Hm I hope those elephants are treated well. I wouldn't want them to be treated like they do at African Lion Safari- that place makes me mad when I think of how they treat their elephants sometimes >=(
I love the circus, but the last one I went to was so disappointing. Loving your pics, sounds like you had a great time
