Strawberry Picking @ Applewood Farm Winery Stouffville!
Anyone in the GTA area I would recommend this dainty strawberry field for some strawberry picking! Strawberries are usually at their prime time mid June to mid July. I would recommend bringing your own container, wearing some clothes you wouldn't mind getting dirty, hat + sunglasses, and sunscreen. Strawberry patches are definitely not grown in shaded areas :p I've found it so interesting that fresh picked strawberries taste so much sweeter and juicier than store-bought strawberries. They also get ripe much more quicker turning a dark red a few hours after picking them off their stem. I took most of my strawberries and made batches and batches of chocolate dipped strawberries. The mix of chocolate and sweet strawberries are a match made in heaven!

Wow.. I wanted to go Strawberry picking but I have no one to go with (I should learn how to drive) ><" Sounds fun.. I agree with you chocolate & strawberries are aweesssoome though i hate making them especially at work XD

The strawberries look delicious! I personally love local strawberries vs. the imported ones from the states even if they do cost an arm and an leg haha
