Naked 1 vs Naked 2!

To be honest, I already convinced myself when Naked 2 Palette came out that I wouldn't need it considering how I barely use my Naked 1 Palette. But when I saw it on Steph's Blog Sale I couldn't resist...(she still has items on sale, so check it out!). So I'm not sure if I should blame her or thank her (just kidding Steph! =D).

Naked 1 and Naked 2 Palette in all its glory. Kudos Urban Decay on the Naked 2 sturdier packaging, the velvet packaging on the Naked 1 palette was just a dust magnet!

All the beautiful colours of Naked 1 and Naked 2 *drools*. I've already justified that the colours are just too amazing to not have both palettes. I even explained to the boyfriend there was the need to have both ;) But before you call me crazy, it's true, the colours are actually quite similar and you don't need to have both. On the other hand, I don't regret purchasing it one bit! For comparison of swatches refer to Temptalia's post here

Cheers to a Happy Friday tomorrow!

Strawberry Picking =)

Strawberry Picking @ Applewood Farm Winery Stouffville!

Anyone in the GTA area I would recommend this dainty strawberry field for some strawberry picking! Strawberries are usually at their prime time mid June to mid July. I would recommend bringing your own container, wearing some clothes you wouldn't mind getting dirty, hat + sunglasses, and sunscreen. Strawberry patches are definitely not grown in shaded areas :p I've found it so interesting that fresh picked strawberries taste so much sweeter and juicier than store-bought strawberries. They also get ripe much more quicker turning a dark red a few hours after picking them off their stem. I took most of my strawberries and made batches and batches of chocolate dipped strawberries. The mix of chocolate and sweet strawberries are a match made in heaven!

I apologize for being so MIA! But I'm still lingering around :)
