Sleek Pout Paint Party!

I had the privilege to attend a fabulous Sleek Pout Paint Party held by the wonderful host Lisamarie from Beauty Crazed this Saturday!

The party was held at a beautiful venue of her very own home complete with party decor, pretty flowers, confetti, balloons, sugary snacks, drinks, and kitty cats! Full of girly awesomeness.

The pigmented Pout Paints. Lots of different shades can be created. I felt like I was in art class again. These would be great in a makeup artist's kit. We each created our own shade and voted for our favourite. Lisamarie also generously prepared each of us swag bags but with a twist. Stealing and swapping involved. It got a bit catty (aka Meredith :p)

Kerri was the winner with her spicy shade she calls - Don't Mess With Me Fuchsia. She also showed us her very own beauty line apotheKerri. Lots of wearable shades, love the bright coral lipstick and very intrigued with her pressed blotting powder!

Nature Walk

I like spending my weekends outside of the house as much as I can since a get little time to do so during the week. There is just not enough free hours after work. Green is good for the eyes. Or so my mom says. I do believe in exercising the eye muscles by looking at things far off in a distance once in a while verses sitting in front of a computer (which I unfortunately do a lot of).

There's always beauty everywhere you go. These pictures were taken at a local park on a beautiful sunny day. Take a walk with me :)

To the Circus!

To my delight, as I was driving home from work I noticed this huge red and yellow striped tent. The circus was in town!!!

I've been wanting to go to the circus since forever because of the memories I have of my aunt taking my cousins and I when we were little. I remembered it was such an eye-opener for me! Although I was scared of clowns (I still am) there was a touch of surreal-ness with the bright colours, acrobatics, and animals that knew had to do tricks!

Very very pretty white horses, I captioned this as "Unicorns (Almost)" :D

Craziest stunt ever. Some guy holding this heavy apparatus. OH. Lets put someone up on the apparatus. Oh, and for the hell of it, why not make him ride a motorcycle IN IT! Needless to say, I was worried for their life.

You can't go to a circus and not see elephants! You know, just chilling out, sitting on a stool, having a good laugh ;)

Many years later, the circus was still amazing! Felt like a kid again :)
